Analyze completed loops without judgment
MobiusSelf is for analyzing what has already happened. It studies the visible traces of a completed or partially completed loop: intention, action, projection, shadow, reflection, and outcome.
You cannot directly see the flip, but you can infer it from the parts of the loop you can see. Mobius studies how intention and action failed to align without converting insight into blame.
If you apply Mobius to the future, you are simulating a possible loop during Maintain or Program. Future-Mobius is simulation, not sight.
When to use it

- When intention and action diverged and you need to understand the flip.
- When something outside may include your own projection, based on what actually occurred.
- When the shadow cast by protection needs to be studied without blame.
- When reflection shows what direct perspective could not.
- When Program needs clean past-facing status before direct perspective returns.

What this phase is not
MobiusSelf is not prediction. Never use Mobius to override a boundary, excuse harm, or convert another person’s behavior into your responsibility.
Four surfaces
Projection, shadow, reflection, shadow of reflection
Projection shows what is cast outward. Shadow shows what the light source hides. Reflection shows what the world returns. The shadow of reflection shows what even feedback conceals.
Mobius gives Program a temporary inside/outside inference. Use it carefully before direct perspective returns.
Warning
Future-Mobius is simulation, not sight
Planning may simulate a future Witness or Mobius phase, but the imagined scene is built from internal models, not actual activity.
